Origin Story
You could say C2 was founded on a story of romance. As an eight-year-old boy, Marcus would run too fast, fall over too quickly, and constantly misplace his affection for girls. There was rarely a still moment. There was, however, a single place where the world seemed to stop spinning — a place that, for no explanation, he was drawn to.
He would stare up at a large white mansion that demanded mindfulness. Who lived there? What were their lives like? With every opportunity, he would return to stand in front of it and wonder.
Years passed. Marcus was 31 and working for another wedding videography company in Melbourne. At the 11th hour, the bride insisted on Marcus specifically — so with only a moment's notice, he swapped with the original videographer.
When he arrived at the location, it was the same house from his childhood.
"Inside that house was the bride's sister — the woman I would marry."
Within a week of meeting her, Marcus knew. He needed to take control of his future. C2 Films was born. The rest is history: a business built on passion, three adoring children, many sleepless nights, and more love than he ever knew was possible.
That same belief — that love deserves to be documented with total commitment — is what drives every single person at C2 today.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Marcus is one of Australia's most recognised wedding cinematographers — known as much for his ability to put couples completely at ease as for the cinematic quality of his work.
With over 23 years in the industry, his eye has been refined across thousands of weddings, from intimate garden ceremonies to grand ballroom celebrations. He brings the same level of presence and craft to every single one.
Marcus's approach is built on genuine connection. He asks questions, listens deeply, and creates an environment where you forget the camera is even there. That authenticity — the unguarded laugh, the quiet glance, the trembling hand — is what fills his frames.

How We Work
Before we ever pick up a camera, we invest time in truly understanding who you are as a couple. Questionnaires, phone calls, and Zoom sessions build the foundation for a film that feels genuinely yours — not a template of someone else's day.
We use organic, natural light wherever possible. Our cameras follow the day as it unfolds — not as a list of shots to check off. We trust the story your wedding is already telling, and we follow it.
Our editing process is never solo. Every film is reviewed by multiple editors before it leaves our studio. We take turns editing each other's work — this is how we grow, and it's why every C2 film reaches a standard no single editor could achieve alone.
Your finished film arrives via a private, beautifully presented online gallery. If anything isn't right, we make it right — without exception. Our 550+ five-star reviews are the proof that this commitment runs through everything we do.
