Their Story
One date. That was all it took. Jack was travelling through Europe with a mate not long after, and from a tiny hotel room in Rome he turned and said it out loud: this is the one. Years later, standing in front of everyone who mattered, he proved himself right. "They say you should marry your best friend — and I really, truly did."
The day began at St Patrick's Cathedral, where Natasha walked down the aisle and Jack, by his own admission, had tears before she reached him. It ended at W Melbourne with guests who had flown in from Perth, Sydney, Queensland, the US, Lebanon and Brazil. "That kind of effort says everything about the love and support surrounding us."
His speech thanked everyone — parents, grandparents, cousins, the ones no longer here — but the line that stopped the room was for Natasha alone: "I walked in thinking I'd built a home. You walked in and made it one."
