Their Story
Eight years. That's how long Jean-Claude and Elena walked together before this day — a day, in his words, "we've both imagined for a long time." They started as friends, inseparable from the beginning — the pair Elena's parents lovingly called Heckle and Jeckle — and that friendship quietly grew into something neither of them could have scripted.
When Jean-Claude stood to speak at Leonda, one word kept returning: supportive. "She's been through every high and every low — steady, patient, always believing in me, pushing me to be better, and reminding me of what I'm capable of."
Surrounded by family — some travelling all the way from Canada — and grounded in faith at the Antiochian Orthodox Church of St Nicholas, the day carried a promise that summed it all up: "You'll always have my support, my love, and my hand to walk beside you through this life."
